Large art nouveau "figure clock" around 1899 High quality alabaster case, artistic stone sculpture by renowned sculptor Oswald Schimmelpfennig (1872 - 1939), sculptor of the Art Nouveau, was a freelance employee of the "Gladenbeck" foundry, Berlin. Very finely worked figures, the woman sitting on the clock pedestal, the young man, leaning, wide rectangular stand made of one solid piece of white alabaster and Grey marble stone, built-in original "Lenzkirch" clock movement, working, good used condition. The wooman head has been cracked and glued back on place and hers feets are cracked and missing. 

Measuring 24” ht by 17 1/2” wd by 6 1/2” dp and 90 pounds heavy.
