A very nice Antique 18th Century English Sterling Silver Shell Back (Picture Back style) of Spoon.

Sterling Silver.

Hallmarked with Lion Passant and Hester Bateman Mark (Partial Maker's Mark - only the H in Script is visible).

Period 3 Letter Initials on back of handle.

Lovely Ornate Shell on Back of Bowl.

Length: 4 3/8 inches

Weight: 10.35 grams

Minor bend to edge of bowl. Small Flaw / Crack to Front of Handle exactly where the Hallmark was struck (See photos).

Otherwise Very Good Condition.

Any White or Dark Spots in the Photos are the result of Camera Glare.
