Original 1930's vintage Czech Schlevogt Ingrid malachite blue green glass dressing table set brush insert. A rare version of the original green malachite with a tinge of blue. This is the glass component that went into the back of the brush as can be seen in the image from Petr Novy's book on Ingrid glass.

The Curt Schlevogt company introduced the Ingrid collection at the spring 1934 trade fair in Leipzig and later on, it was presented at the world expositions in Chicago (1934) and Brussels (1935). The Ingrid collection was constantly enriched, comprising of approximately 600 objects in 1935, doubling in number by the mid 1940's. This new colored glass which formed part of the Ingrid collection was produced at the glassworks of Josef Riedel in Dolni Polubny. ​

A super quality original Czech glass collectible in good condition with an edge chip. This can be used as a replacement piece or mounted and made into a beautiful piece of vanity ware
