Each Scrunchy, whatever the base colour, has multi-coloured LED Lights 

There is a small box inside the scrunchy, simply feel for it and gently pull out the tab from the box. This will activate the fully charged battery

Once the tab has been pulled out, simply press the button on the device for it to turn on, and press again for the different modes.
