The LIGHTENUPGRADE switchback indicator kit allows you to use the indicators on the FJR1300 as additional white Daytime Running Lights that automatically "switchback" to amber indicators when selected.
The kit has been designed specifically to fit GEN 1 AND GEN 2 FJR1300.
**GEN 1 AND GEN 2 KITS ARE DIFFERENT, PLEASE VERIFY WHICH YOU HAVE PRIOR TO PURCHASING (GEN 1 HAS 3 WIRES ON THE INDICATOR PLUG GEN 2 HAS 2 WIRES) it is a complete plug and play kit, using all the original plugs/connectors on the bike. there is no need to cut, solder or crimp any thing, it is all done ready to plug straight in, what i like to call a "non destructive mod" it can be fitted then removed without leaving any sign that it was ever fitted!
All cable joints and crimped terminals that are supplied on the kit are fully soldered to make the kit as robust as possible.
There are no issues with MOT as the indicator always takes priority and will switch the white light off on that side before the amber flash starts.
the contents of the basic kit are:
- 2x switchback led units
- 1x plug and play wiring loom
- 1x led indicator relay
- 2x white sidelight led bulbs
- fitting guide
Additional options:
- Clock backlighting upgrade kit. (Upgrades bulbs in backlighting and warning lights to led for bolder, brighter illumination)
- LED Headlight bulbs
- GEN 2 rear switchbacks (Red/Amber) these are only available when you supply your rear subloom for modification, rather than a separate replaceable part. please get in touch to enquire
