Really made in Iceland. This product is created by Icelandic material, labour and design. 100% Icelandic wool, machine spun and knitted. The fabric is hand decorated by needle felting using unspun merino and silk fibres for the bright and shiny colours representing the glacier. The designer has put a lot of work into developing the right look of the icy crevice and is always careful not to overdo the designs with decoration, because sometimes less is more.
The cardigan wrap is closed by two magnetic buttons on each end of the collar. It is attached from shoulder to shoulder. Then the collar is folded over so the glacier decoration appears on the outside as well as the stripe down the back. Only those parts with decoration are felted but those without, such as sleeves and sides, are unfelted. This is to make sure that the garment will be as light and soft as possible. From the back of the neckline and down measures 74 cm or29 inch.
The Icelandic wool is naturally breathable and regulates body temperature. It is a source which has kept the Icelandic people warm for centuries.
