Prototype is Special Coach for Extra Train around Tokyo area which was based on Series 12 coach and was built in 1987.

The most characteristic point is coaches which have panoramic windows with compartment and buffet corner.

Mainly, EF58 Loco No.61 hauled it because the color is matched to this coaches.
