The Trinity Rescue Kit (TRK) is a free live Linux distribution that is equally useful for resolving Linux recovery problems as it is for Windows recovery and repair procedures. Since version 3.4, it has a simple scrollable text menu that anyone who is proficient with a keyboard and a working knowledge of English may use to do maintenance and repair on a computer, including password resets, disc cleanups, and virus scans. TRK can be started in three distinct ways:

-from a USB stick/disk (optionally also a fixed disc), installable from Windows, or from the bootable TRK cd (which is easier and safer). -as a bootable CD that you can burn yourself from a downloadable isofile or a self burning Windows executable -from a fixed disc optionly also from a USB stick/disk.

You start one TRK from a CD or USB while using the network through PXE. to your local network anything.

Since version 3.4, TRK features both a user-friendly textmenu and a command-line interface.
