Vintage Royal Doulton Hand Painted Art Deco

Bone China 27 Piece Tea Set 1933 V1309

This vintage Royal Doulton art deco tea set is in very good condition with

no chips, cracks or crazing. Every piece rings true. The hand painted

red blossom pattern is intact on every piece. The set comprises 7 trios,

creamer, sugar. butter dish, jam dish, and two cake plates. Additionally,

there are two side plates, useful in case of breakage.The pattern

 number V1309 was introduced in 1932. The number 6 adjacent to the

 backstamp indicates a production date of 1933. Additionally, there are

impressed numbers on the base of most. On one for example, it is

 4 8 33 which could possibly indicate a production date of 4th August 1933,

while on  a second it is 4 9 33 indicating 4th September 1933. Please be

 aware, this is on a guess on my part.

 Total set weight 4041gm (just over 4 kilos.)
