As the Mark 2 model of the PD-151, it is equipped with the latest tone arm with original specifications.
The tone arm is newly equipped with a static-balanced type employing SAEC-developed knife-edge technology with excellent initial sensitivity.
The S-shaped arm has a universal type tip for easy mounting and replacement of various cartridges.
The drive motor is a low-speed, high-torque brushless DC motor of original specifications, which was perfected over a period of two years during the development of the PD-151.
The turntable has a 4kg heavyweight platter manufactured by cutting extra-thick aluminum material and a 16mm-diameter high-hardness stainless steel spindle shaft combined with multiple bearing construction to produce stable rotation with high inertia.
