Stoker's "DRACULA" starring JEAN LeCLERC at the Playhouse Theatre in Wilmington, Delaware beginning July 17th, 1978.
(The Broadway revival opened October 20th, 1977 at New York's Martin
Beck Theatre and ran for 925 performances while simultaneously playing
on the road.) ..... The play starred JEAN LeCLERC in the title role and
featured LETA ANDERSON, WILLIAM B. CAIN, GEOFF GARLAND, RICHARD S.
LEVINE, GEORGE MARTIN, MALCOLM STEWART and LAUREN THOMPSON ..... Side
Note: The production was awarded a 1978 Tony Award for "Most Innovative
Production of a Revival" due primarily to the ambitious sets and
breathtaking costumes designed by EDWARD GOREY. The only other Tony
Award presented to "DRACULA" was for EDWARD GOREY's costume
