Incredible Northern Plains Sioux Gunstock Spontoon War Club, c. Late 19th century, with beautiful file branded handle decorations.  Early hand forged Spontoon Blade. Amazing patina and handle wear. Overall Measures 25 3/4” long. Just a great example, in excellent overall condition. Comes from a large Historic Collection in the Northeastern States, He purchased this from a large collection/estate In Saskatchewan, Canada 2-3 decades ago and housed it in his private collection ever since.
