Original Knott’s Berry Farm Steak House Menu

This is an approximately 70-75 year old piece of very-well preserved ephemera from Knott’s Berry Farm at Buena Park in southern California. The 5-¼ x 8-¼ inch, 12-page brochure is undated but when it was produced, Knott’s Berry Farm had 750 employees and the amusement park as well as the Market, Gift Shop, and Sport Shop were all run by different members of the Knott family.
The Steak House at Knott’s Berry Farm was opened in September 1946 and on the menu were things like Pioneer Beef Stew ($1.00), steaks ranging from $1.75 to $4.00 (Miner’s Special Steak) and everything was served with soup, salad, hot rolls and boysenberry jam, vegetables, potatoes and coffee.
This booklet also contains pictures of the Ghost Town, Wagon Camp, Hangman’s Tree, the Little Chapel by the Lake, Calico Railroad and on the back cover is an inside view of the Indian Room in the Steakhouse and the General Merchandise Store.
Our photos show the actual item offered for sale. It was stored carefully and away from light and is in very nice condition. No fading, no writing, no odor.
