Not sure if this book has had the plates removed and been rebound? Or if this is some sort of pre-published copy. No print date and no plates, although the first page references "fine steel plate portraits." Unique piece!

Binding is tight, pages are very old, some foxing, staining, and overall worn. Hardcover is solid.
