The IC-R72 is a basic HF receiver with full coverage between 30 kHz and 30 MHz for CW, SSB, AM and FM (optional) modes. Features: Double conversion system, RF preamplifier, 10 and 20dB attenuators, noise blanker, 99 memories, 10 Hz and 1~10 kHz step setting, direct key entry, clock and timer. Optional voice synthesizer unit and CI-V level converter for PC remote control. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 1992
