Ravage Red and Black Embroidered Mesh With Aubergine Corsage: MYSTIQUE R3053(Bra Size)-027-090 . This lightly padded, U/W plunge bra, is covered in a double layer of red over black sheer mesh, embroidered across the three sectioned red cups with the outlines of large flowers and leaves, this also covers the underwires which are picked out with red stitching. The shapes of the leaves and petals rise over the top edge of the cups leaving a pretty shape, outlined with black embroidery. The section in between the cups is also covered with the floral black embroidery, lined inside with an extra layer of red mesh for added strength. There is no underband.
The outer covering has a vertical seam in the red over black layers of mesh. An embroidered aubergine coloured corsage is sewn to part of the left hand side front strap and the bottom petals are sewn to the outside of the left hand cup, some embroidered leaves float over the cup and the petals float over the join between the front strap and the cups. There is an aubergine coloured mesh ruffled centre to the flower, standing proud of the petals behind it.
The wings and back are in a double layer of sheer mesh, the black mesh inside and the red mesh outside. The top and bottom have the red and black mesh folded and secured to the flat red elastic inside with large red zig-zag stitches. The bra fastens with three double rows of red hooks and eyes on red fabric.
The front straps are in a doubled over panel of the red and black mesh, embroidered with black inside and up the outer edges; behind this top section the straps have a single layer of red fabric. These front straps are sewn under the top section of the padded cups and continue over the shoulder where they loop through a red ring. The back straps are in flat red elastic with a satin sheen, these also loop through the top ring and adjust downwards with a red butterfly slider. At the bottom the back straps are sewn to the top and bottom bands of red elastic inside the back of this bra.
Ravage takes some simple red mesh, and black mesh and creates such a soft, sensuous, delightful, plunge bra where the inner black layer enlivens the red and keeps out the light. The composition of the plunge bra is 67%Polyamide, 14%Polyester, 10%Polyurethane, 9%Elastane, and, please machine or hand wash at 30 degrees, no iron, dry cleaning, tumble drying or bleach.
