Beautiful illustrated woodcut engraving print from 1885 of The Kilt Rock, Isle of Skye, measuring approximately 270mm x 170 mm (10.5" x 6.5"), including borders - actual print size measures approximately 185mm x 130mm (7.25" x 5"). Excellent condition for age. Will look superb framed.

The print been carefully extracted from a dis-bound and no longer usable Universal Geography book by Elisee Reclus and trimmed for framing. Some light foxing of page, although some ageing and wear is inevitable for paper nearly 140 years old. There is no print on the reverse side.

Please note: this is an original illustrated woodcut engraving print extracted from a dis-bound book and is not a modern copy.
