AN EXTRACT FROM Carweek Magazine from 1994

An interview with Lewis Collins

Asks Lewis's opinion of the then new Ford Probe, this car was effectively "the new Capri" - Lewis's character in The Professionals helped the popularity of the Capri a great deal so it's no surprise that a leading weekly car magazine interviewed him in 1994 for his views on the Capri's replacement

Lewis mentions how he feels the Probe is a little bit too much of an executive car to be thrashed in The Professionals and how he would be happy

to receive one from Ford!

Lewis also talks about how he did all the driving in the show except for one occasion - he also mentions how unlike Roger Moore he did his own stunts.

(Around 10 years before this interview, there was a lot of talk of Lewis replacing Roger Moore as Bond)

Also catches up with Lewis and he talks about potential plans for a new Professionals series in the 1990s, we also learn about his motorbike

It is very rare to find any interviews with Lewis Collins from the 1990s - this interview was carried out 13 years after the last episode of The Professionals had been filmed and 11 years after the last episode was

screened on TV.

Please note that this item is a photo copy of the original interview and it will be sent folded in half in the post

The main text has been obliterated for the photograph only, the copy you will receive will be totally clear

A great article for the Lewis Collins fan - the vast majority of his press interviews took place in the late 1970s and early 1980s so this mid 1990s interview is EXTREMELY RARE

VERY RARE INDEED!!

My late grandmother was a massive Lewis Collins fan and collected practically every press interview he carried out during the late 1970s and early 1980s - please check out my other Lewis Collins related items
