Hosta Touch of Class®.

Hosta 'Touch of Class' ®

Hardy perennial

Hosta Touch of Class ® new form of Hosa 'June' ® with intense blue leaves set off by a striking yellow-gold centre.  A green colour is created where the gold and blue overlap on these upright thick leaves and the clump is topped with lavender flowers. Medium mound size at maturity.  All blue leaved hostas have green leaves it is the "bloom" waxy cuticle layer on the upper surface of the leaf that gives the blue colour.  To get the best blue colour grow in good shade with overhanging tree branches or shade structure as strong sun will melt the wax and heavy rain will wash the wax of the leaves.

Plant is sent out in 13cm pot to UK and EU countries, USA and Norway bareroot.
Hostas leaves will be cut off before sending from August onwards. Photograph shows a more mature plant not same plant as is for sale.

Hosta leaves die back from as early as  August and re-emerge when temperature is warm enough in the Spring usually March onwards.

Postal Arrangements

Within the U.K., we send parcels out by First Class Signed post which is a trackable service.

To Europe and USA I use International Signed For Airmail another trackable service.

American and Norwegian buyers should note that, as a licensed grower, all our plants come with a phyto sanitary certificate signed by the Department of Agriculture. It takes an average of 14 working days for the certificate to be issued as your plant has to be individually inspected by an official from the Department. This means that you can be absolutely certain that your plant meets the highest standards of this country.

Postage we use Royal Mail to send all parcels please check the tracking reference all parcels are signed for so this means someone needs to be in to sign the parcel Royal Mail is supposed to leave a card if you are not in but this does not always happen so check with your local post office. A parcel is not lost until 15 working Days after day of posting.
Returns of Live plants we only accept plants back provided they are sent in the same condition you got the plants ie in a healthy state.
