Ravage Hippy Style Collection, INSOUMIS beige eco-suede and mesh high leg, high rise thong: INSOUMIS R29631-035-1, 2, 3 or 4. The front panel is in beige microfibre and runs down to the front gusset seam. Another panel of beige microfibre covers the outside of the gusset and continues upwards to the top of the thong stem.
From the top of the front panel, under the diagonal sides is a band of matte beige mesh which continues around to the back where it finishes over the thong stem edged with beige eco-suede, widening as it reaches the back. Around all parts of this beige mesh are applique'd eco-suede beige leaves, edged with beige embroidery and with further beige embroidery forming the veins of the leaves, this beige embroidery has a satin sheen which catches the light. These leaves form pretty shapes all around the bottom of these wide sides, over the hips. A band of the beige eco-suede is formed into a bow, sewn to the top of the waistband at the centre back, the tails of the bow have bronze cuff beads, before the knots in the tails of the bow.
Around the top, the fabric of the front panel and the embroidered mesh is folded in and secured to the flat elastic waistband inside, with fine beige zig-zag stitching. Around the front leg sides, the gusset and the thong stem, the beige fabric is folded in and edged inside with a narrower band of flat beige elastic, secured again with fine beige zig-zag stitching. The gusset is lined with beige Jersey cotton.
Ravage takes some simple beige eco-suede, and beige mesh and creates such a soft, tactile, sensuous, well fitting, thong referencing an Eco style of Hippy movement in the 1960's. The composition of the thong is 52%Polyester, 21%Polyurethane, 14%Polyamide, 6%Elastane, 5%Cotton, 2%Viscose and, please hand wash in cold water, no iron, dry cleaning, tumble drying or bleach. Please dry flat. New and unused. Made in France. The retail price of the thong was £57.00.
