Aluminum construction provides rigidity to the box so it keeps its shape, even in demanding outdoor conditions. The BoomBox also features a removable reflector plate that transforms the box into a beauty dish-style light and helps eliminate hot spots that are often associated with on-camera flashes. Your shoe-mount flash attaches to the outside of the box so you can access the controls, use a radio slave, and have IR line of sight contact if you need it.
