Takamine PSF45C Santa Fe Gloss Natural 2000 Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have a Takamine PSF45C Santa Fe Acoustic Guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in Japan in the year 2000, this guitar features a solid Spruce top, a solid Rosewood back and sides, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Beautiful Turquoise Inlays are featured on the fingerboard along with a rosewood veneer on the headstock with an abalone Takamine logo and turquoise dot inlay. Gold-plated Takamine-branded tuners are featured with amber pearloid buttons. A beautiful guitar with luxurious appointments. 

The Gloss Natural finish is framed on top and back by multi-ply ivoroid/blue wenge purfling, and the soundhole sports a distinct ‘Southwestern’-style rosette which projects the sound beautifully. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, providing ergonomic thumb positioning and easy fretting up and down the neck. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck provides a comfortable playing surface, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard with Turquoise inlays feels pleasant under the fingers offering a smooth playing surface. The cutaway enhances access to the upper frets, whilst the smooth lines of the body ensure this instrument is comfortable and practical to play in seated or standing positions.

The all solid construction allows the wood to resonate clearly, the Rosewood back and sides provide a deep, rich and warm tone with a defined low end, and smooth midrange. The Sitka Spruce top "X" bracing contributes to the guitar's excellent projection and sustain, offering sparkling high frequencies, as well as providing a wide dynamic range that feels sensitive to the player's touch.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall good condition. Light scratching is present to the front and rear face, visible under direct light from certain angles. Chipping and denting to the finish is visible to the top bass side corner of the front face and to the top edge of the headstock. 

Neck: Overall very good condition. Light denting can be felt under the finger in playing position to the lower register of the back of the neck, more towards the bass side. Light scratching is visible to the full register of the fingerboard, but can not be felt under the finger.

Body: Light scratching is present to all surfaces of the body, visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable on the rear face. Denting is visible to the front face and sides of the body

Condition of Frets:

The frets show moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is noticeable through the entire register. There is moderate material remaining for any light fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
