Ibanez S320 Cosmo Black 2008 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have an Ibanez S320 in Cosmo Black finish. Made in Indonesia in 2008, this guitar features a Mahogany body, a 3-piece Maple neck and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. The hardware featured on this guitar consists of a ZR tremolo with a ZPS2 stabiliser bridge and sealed tuning machines. The pickups are a pair of Ibanez Infinity 1 and Infinity 2 humbucking pickups, these are wired to a 5-way pickup selector, master volume and master tone.

The 3-piece Maple ‘Wizard ll’ profile neck sits comfortably in the hand, and with its Satin finish provides a quick and smooth surface. The 16” radius and Jumbo frets assist with string bending and vibrato techniques, feeling rock solid under the fingers and provide a smooth and reliable playing surface. The body cutaways provide unobstructed access right up to the 22th fret, and with the 1.3” body thickness, offers a comfortable and lightweight guitar that can be played for hours on end

The Ibanez Infinity 1 and Infinity 2 humbucking provide tones that are thick and full. The Infinity 1 in the neck offers boosted mids, big lows and fat highs, and is perfect for rock and metal lead tones. The Infinity 2 humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.

Aesthetic Condition: 

Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edge demonstrates light yet consistent indentation. These can be felt under the finger but do not pierce the finish. The front face demonstrates light scratching across the profile, visible only at certain angles. The rear demonstrates a moderate indentation, piercing the finish, beside the serial number. 

Neck: Overall excellent condition, all aspects of the neck and fingerboard demonstrate minimal markings.

Body: Overall very good condition, notable buffing of the finish at regular contact points are visible. This is most evident to the treble side of the body between the pickups and the waist, where the finish now resembles gloss. Moderate scratching is visible to all sides, most notably the rear face consistent with buckle rash. The bottom edge demonstrates chipping of the finish in places.

Condition of Frets:

The frets show moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is noticeable in the early frets, improving as you climb the register.
