Ravage Blue Diamond Patterned Pleated Wide Sided Thong: SOMNABULE R44631-049-4. This lightly lined, high leg, mid rise, wide sided thong has a front panel down to the front gusset seam, of blue satin diamond shaped pleats, facing downwards, lined inside with blue microfibre. The top edge has a single row of blue stitching to secure the pleats and down each leg side the outer edge is covered with a narrow band of doubled over blue microfibre.
A panel of the blue microfibre covers the outside of the gusset which is lined inside with blue Jersey cotton. A narrow band of blue elastic with a satin sheen, edges the outside of the gusset area, secured with a double row of blue stitching.
The thong stem is in two separate layers of doubled over blue microfibre, joined up the centre so that the outer edges are smooth. These panels split when they reach the panel at the top and each panel edges the outside of the top panel, then joining another panel of double blue microfibre at the hip sides. The upper panel of blue microfibre is edged around the top with a narrow band of blue elastic, secured with a double row of stitching, this also edges the top of the back panel of blue diamond patterned pleats. The bottom panel of the blue microfibre has a smooth edged separate layer of blue microfibre, from the back gusset seam upwards, around the hips and then on down edging the front leg sides where it stops at the front gusset seam.
The top panel of the thong stem has the diamond patterned pleated blue satin, edged around the top with the narrow band of flat elastic, machined in place down the bottom diagonals with a single row of blue stitching. This back panel of blue satin is lined inside with blue microfibre, as is the front panel - this lining also helps the blue satin to feel more sumptuous and substantial, whilst still being light and delicate.
Ravage takes some simple blue satin and pleats it into a diamond pattern so that it catches the light in an interesting way to become even more sumptuous than if it were in plain satin, also contrasting with the matte blue of the microfibre. The composition of the thong is 52%Polyester, 25%Polyamide, 17%Elastane, 6%Cotton and, please machine or hand wash at 40 degrees, no iron, dry cleaning, tumble drying or bleach. New and unused.
