Description
When the Korg M1 digital synthesizer was released in 1988, it became a massive hit and eventually sold 250,000 units, making it the best-selling synthesizer of all time. So why was it so successful? For the time, it offered a great set of features: 16-note polyphony, a keyboard sensitive to velocity and aftertouch, MIDI compatibility, and on-board effects. Further, there were several preset sounds that were relatively novel for many users, including exotic instruments and slow-attack ambient pads. The Korg M1 was used prolifically, including by Madonna and house music artists. With its broad palette of sounds and effects, the Korg M1 blew up and became an iconic part of pop culture. This unit features sounds loaded from the MPC-02 program card " Synth1 ", adding even more great sounds to an already awesome synth!
This keyboard is in very good condition, with some signs of aging (please see photos), including some scratches and scuffs (please see photos). However this synthesizer works perfectly, and it has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, who has confirmed the integrity and flawless operation of the unit.
