Product description:
MP-4 combustible gas sensor uses a multi-layer thick film manufacturing process in miniature
A heater and a metal oxide semiconductor gas sensing layer are respectively formed on both sides of the Al2O3 ceramic substrate, and are packaged in a metal case. The conductivity of the sensor changes when there is a detected gas in the ambient air. The higher the concentration of the gas, the higher the conductivity of the sensor. This change in conductivity can be converted to an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration using a simple circuit.

Features:
This product has good sensitivity to methane in a wide concentration range, and has the advantages of strong anti-interference ability, low power consumption, fast response recovery, good stability, long life, low cost, and simple driving circuit.

Application:
1. Combustible gas leakage monitoring device, fire/safety detection system for home, factory and commercial use.
2. Combustible gas leakage alarm, gas leak detector.

Parameter:

Note: The above figure shows the basic test circuit of the MP-4 sensor. The sensor requires two voltages to be applied: heater voltage (VH) and test voltage (VC). The VH is used to provide a specific operating temperature for the sensor, either DC or AC. The VRL is the voltage across the load resistor (RL) of the sensor in series. VC is the voltage for testing the load resistor RL and requires a DC power supply.
