This original piece of illustration art created
by the famous Midwestern American artist Eugene Mumaw, is an excellent example
of his individualistic artistic style that singularly defines him as one of the
most distinguished artists in the United States. Eugene Mumaw was born in
Muncie, Indiana, and graduated from Muncie Central High School. For almost 50
years, half a century, Eugene Mumaw worked at the Ball Corporation, a legendary
American company that today still manufactures quality glass home-canning jars.
Established in 1880 with a two-hundred dollar loan from a family member, the
Ball Corporation first manufactured wood-jacketed tin cans used for paint and
kerosene product containers. In 1884, the Ball Corporation began making their outstanding
and globally famous glass home-canning jars that today are still popularly used
in the twenty-first century. Aside from preserving food, some other many
contemporary uses for the Ball Corporation glass home-canning jars include taking
fresh salads to work for a healthy lunch including your own smaller home-canning
Ball jar to tote freshly made chemical free salad dressing. You can also carry your
homemade soup in a backpack and it does not leak. Ball jars are also very popular
drinking glasses used for all occasions from formal weddings to a casual picnic,
even possibly a Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg style food event. Decorative Ball
jar vases are perfect for displaying small floral bouquets that today are seen in
many restaurants. Filling your Ball Jar with oatmeal, fruit and vegetable infused
water, and heating your brought from home lunch in a Cooluli office
refrigerator is the best, and we may probably never forget Moonshine. In 1887,
the Ball brothers moved their company from Buffalo, New York, to Muncie,
Indiana, taking advantage of the states abundant natural gas reserves along with
opportunities for company expansion. Interestingly, Eugene Mumaw worked at the
Ball Corporation in the area of Internal Quality Control and one could
naturally assume he thoroughly had positive employee experiences after working
there 47 years. This Indiana artist was a Catholic and for 25 years he drew
engaging art posters for the Muncie Civic Theatre. Now you too can own one of the
Eugene Mumaw cutie girl pin-up art creations and decoratively display in your
kitchen, pantry, or home-canning jar products area as rare exclusive original art from a distinguished American mid-twentieth century
artist. When the current supply of these original art pieces are completely
sold-out, and will in the near future, they will likely be found only at
auction sales and purchased for overly inflated prices perhaps at Sotheby, Christie’s,
Phillips, Bonhams, and online auction houses.
