Miniature Hand-crafted Christmas Tree Baubles

Each collection is a carefully handcrafted set of designs replicating original mercury and glass tree ornaments.  Although these are not made of glass, careful selection of paints and vanishes has allowed replication of the characteristic shine and/or transparent colouring of the originals.

Baubles measure approximately 8.5mm including wire hoop. (Pointed baubles 10mm.) 

Collection 1:  Opaque wintery colours based on blues, greens and silver, with snowflake, swirl, frost and leaf motifs. 

Collection 2:  Opaque. Vibrant reds, greens, yellows and gold, including mercury-style finishes and detailed mistletoe and ivy berry with gold detailing. 

New! Collection 3: Clear baubles in both matte and gloss, in white, blues and greens.  Snow and leaf patterns.

New! Collection 4:  A mix of vibrant reds, greens and white/clear, with scrolls, swirls, leaves and gold highlights.

New! Collection 5:  Metallic scroll patterns on semi-transparent brightly-coloured baubles.  Upper parts gloss, lower parts matte.  

New! Collection 6: Ribbed round and pointed baubles in various blue, green and white tones.  Matte finish, with lustre to upper parts.

Each set comes packaged in a handmade green gilded display box with white internal partitioning to create six cells, with each bauble cushioned in white tissue.  Clear cellophane panel in lid.

All baubles are strung on very thin, 38 gauge wire loops with gold-coloured thread for hanging. I would recommend either gluing to tree branches or attaching with thin-gauge wire hooks.

Please note that the listing photo is representative of the specific designs in each collection.  These are not mass produced.  Due to the unique character of hand crafted baubles, there will be slight variations in the collection you receive.  Also, to maintain the shine on these baubles they should be handled as little as possible, as oils from skin will dull the finish over time. Once painted I handle these wearing gloves and hang them with tweezers.

I will normally try to post within 24 hours of receiving payment where possible.  For UK post, I offer my miniatures with free postage - packages are sent second class unless you pay an added fee for first class, and Royal Mail have dramatically increased their prices.  In addition, because of the number of orders which have been misplaced by postal services, I have had to start a policy of requiring 'proof of postage' on larger international orders, so that I can claim compensation when parcels disappear to who knows where?!  The most environmentally-friendly way to do this is through Royal Mail's collection service, rather than me driving every day to the nearest town, but I will be charged 72p per order for this.  I am now also offering to post via Royal Mail's 'International Tracked and Signed', which is a more expensive option, but if you want to be able to track your order, you may prefer this to the standard option.

Orders from outside the UK:  Please be aware that Ebay may add tax to your purchase at checkout, depending on your country.  Ebay automatically remits this tax to the relevant tax authorities.  It is also possible, especially post-Brexit, that your country's Customs office may impose import duties/taxes and handling charges on orders as they arrive in their destination country - the only way I can figure out what is being added is if customers let me know that this has happened, so I will update my listings with information as this becomes clearer, but please understand that these extra charges are out of my control. 

Environmental policy:  I am committed to reusing and recycling as much packaging material as possible.  I make much of my own packaging from recycled cardboard, and by far the majority of my packaging is recyclable/compostable.
