Here is the chance to own an absolutely unique and stunning genuine 24 carat gold plated 1973 Corgi 267 Batmobile, after a long search to find a jeweler who was capable of carrying out the gold plating due to the complexity I then commissioned what was already an almost flawless model to be professionally gold plated in 24 carat gold. The only one around as far as I am aware. All original except for the replacement window (the original is slightly cracked but is available should the winning bidder want it). Both original figures of Batman and Robin are in the cab.

This is a replica (not an exact copy) of one of only approximately 8 ever made (no one is quite sure of the exact amount) given to a few VIP visitors to the Corgi factory but were never made available for general sale. The remainder given as gifts to the head designers in the Corgi factory; - Percy Wilford, Senior Model Maker at Corgi and associate of the Chief Designer for Corgi, Marcel Van Cleemput.  No one is sure how many have survived and the last one that came up for sale was in 2004, it sold for over  £8750.They were issued without a box, instructions, missiles or transfers.

There is only 1 of these models is available, I do not own any others and don't know of anyone else that does. Starting price reflects the costs involved in purchasing a mint model then the complex work of gold plating. I am also open to reasonable offers for the model.

Taken from my husband’s personal collection (he has asked me to list it) and comes in a fantastic looking one-off custom-made presentation hard plastic case of the model exiting the Batcave to protect and display this fine and beautiful model in.

I have taken many pictures of all angles, some with the lid off the display case and some with the lid on it. Please view the pictures carefully as they show the condition of the model and form a graphic example of the model.

All working although the chain cutter can be a little temperamental (possibly due to the heavy gold plating), I will include a set of 3 replica red missiles with the model, I can supply them in yellow if preferred).
