LEGO MindStorms 3804 Robotics Invention System 2.0 (2001)
Build and program robots that do what you want! The Robotics Command System (RCX) is a programmable microcomputer that acts as the brain of your robotic invention. It uses an infrared port to communicate with your computer or other RCX units. Sensor inputs, such as light and touch, allow it to respond to its environment, and functional outputs allow it to use motors to perform physical tasks. Begin by attaching sensors, motors, gears, wheels, and other Lego pieces to your RCX. Then use your computer, the Robotics Invention System 2.0 software, and your RCX to program your model to do what you want. Download your program via the infrared tower to activate your robotic model and watch it take on a life of its own!
