I recently found this piece of history amongst my WW2 archival material.
This card issued to a certain Abram Szkop (nephew of Rabbi Shimon Szkop, and a native of Poland) on May 23 1941 in Yokohama to San Francisco. Just a half a year before the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. The ships name was the SMS Tatuta Maru.

Evidently, Mr Szkop, a native of Poland escaped the Holocaust and traveled with 1000's of other Jewish refugees to Japan and Shanghai. Evidently, he was still able travel to the USA before Japan was at war with the USA, and this was his ticket to safety in the nick of time!

As the card states on the reverse after docking he was to be placed in Quarantine! Something we all know to well because of the Korona virus.

Card measures a little under 4 x 2 3/4 inches. Good condition for its age.

Abraham Szkop migrated to the USA, became a Rabbi and in his later years moved to Israel with his wife Dina. I do have some other papers of his.
