Gooseneck Cabinet Wood Scraper Woodworking Craft Tool All our Wood Scrapers are made in United Kingdom from Carbon Steel, with a hardness rating of RC40/42, 60 temper. (steel temper varies from 9 - 20 which is dead soft, up to 85 which is very hard) This 60 temper rating gives our scrapers a better balance of holding a Sharper edge, being able to be resharpened, and with enough flex in the blade to give good tool control.
