Here for sale we have an Avalon Pioneer L2-30C Acoustic Guitar, a rare one-of-a-kind custom guitar, built in Ireland in 2019. Confirmed by Avalon to be the only one of its kind, the Pioneer L2-30C presents an opportunity to become an important part of Avalon history. This guitar is made up of a solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Wenge back and sides, Sycamore binding, a 20 fret Mahogany neck with a Sycamore strip, and an Ebony fingerboard & bridge. Other appointments include Schaller M6 machine heads with Ebony buttons, a Pau Pau Abalone rosette, a Hiscox Lifelite Pro II hard case, a Rosewood headstock overlay with a mother of pearl Avalon logo, and an LR Baggs Lyric preamp system with a soundhole mounted roller volume control.
The neck plays well, having polished up to a semi-gloss finish through previous use, offering a fluid and comfortable playing surface. The very soft 'V' profile feels easy and ergonomic in the hand, while the venetian cutaway gives great access to the upper register. The jumbo body style offers a full and responsive playing experience with great dynamic range and a lively feel. The build-quality of this instrument is second to none, with the amount of thought and attention to detail being present in every aspect of the guitar.
The unexpected and unique combination of solid Sitka Spruce and solid Wenge blend exceptionally well, sounding somewhere in-between Rosewood and Mahogany, with loads of character. One of the standout features of this custom build is the sheer amount of sustain that this guitar achieves, allowing chords and notes to ring out with complete clarity and then slowly melt away into the ether. The L2-30C has a rich low end, a tight and commanding midrange, along with crisp, sparkling highs, which makes it a great choice when navigating a wide range of genres and playing styles. The LR Baggs Lyric preamp system well interprets the voice of the guitar in a discreet and intuitive package, keeping with the refined aesthetic of the guitar.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: In overall excellent condition. Presents a few light markings to the front.
Neck: In overall excellent condition. Presents a few scattered very superficial dents to the rear, which can be felt lightly in playing positions.
Body: In overall very condition. Presents a very light lacquer to the front bass-side waist, near the binding, not affecting structure, and a few other hardly discernible markings; a few noticeable dents appear to the bridge near the pins, not affecting use.
Condition of Frets:
Mild indentation appears from 1st to 9th fret to the treble side with gradually decreasing intensity. Playability is nonetheless excellent. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.

All of our guitars come with a 30 day no questions asked returns policy.
If you just are not getting along with your new gear you are welcome to return it within 30 days for a full refund. We will ask you to pay the return shipping cost and will need to receive your order back in the condition we sent it. Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
