This is an extremely rare WW2 Philippines Scouts bolo, there were only about 2500 made with very few making it back to the US

This is a large and heavy weapon with a blade length of about 16 1/2” and an overall length of about 22”, these were made by US Spring & Bumper Co. and were serialized. This one saw some use but is still in great shape and very sharp. Included is a picture of a write up in Cole’s “US Military Knives Book IV” on page 44. No sheath unfortunately
