This antique egg holder from the second half 19th century features a charming white hen perched atop a nest basket. This broody hen egg holder is a true Victorian-era original. The crisply detailed molding of the feather details, head and beak makes it a wonderful addition to any collection.  It is in absolutely beautiful estate condition with NO chips, NO cracks, NO repairs and NO restorations.  It shows only minor signs of wear from normal use, as shown in the photos.
