 Offered for sale is a complete 40-count case of limited edition Star Wars/Rogue One movie popcorn tins (130 oz, 3.8 L). Manufactured by Ping Solutions for Golden Link and distributed through Cineplanet Theaters in Peru and Chile (South America) during the screening of Rogue One. The bottom of each popcorn tin has an embossed Golden Link logo and one of the edges has the Cineplanet logo, distinguishing it from its U.S. counterpart.
Each popcorn tin is 8 inches in height and has a diameter (at the top) of just over 7 inches. In addition to the Cineplanet logo on each popcorn tin, the lettering on one side features the words "Rogue One" with the caption, "Una Historia de Star Wars" and the date "Diciembre 2016." The U.S. versions lack this graphic and have English only. One of the four popcorn tins also has an entire design that is unique to South America (theaters in Peru and Chile) and was never produced in the United States. The outer box of the case has been opened but the two inner boxes that contain all of the movie popcorn tins are still sealed. There are ten each of four different types of popcorn tins inside of the case. Each is protected by plastic inside of the boxes. It is very doubtful that another complete case exists as most (if not all) were opened and the popcorn tins were sold/distributed to movie customers. It would also be somewhat difficult and costly to bring a case of this size into the United States.
