1955 debut recording of the French pianist René Urtreger who paid a great tribute to his hero Bud Powell. Two years later René Urtreger will play the soundtrack for the film ‘Ascenseur pour l'échafaud’ with Miles Davis.

The sound quality is superb and impressive !

NO skips ; NO clicks ; NO distortion ; NO background noise ; A more or less repetitive tic during the first 15 seconds of Track 1 (Side A) ; Small cracklings that DO NOT dominate the music ; The audio recording is amazing here !

Note : playgraded with a stereo cartridge (not a mono cartridge as it should be).

The vinyl is visually pretty nice !

This copy has probably been played with care.

NO scratches ; NO feelable marks.

Visible under light & NON feelable : Some very thin/slight scuffs ; Few TINY surface marks ; 4 small/slight hairlines on Side A ; 2 small/slight surface traces on Side A.

Pressing defect : a slight waving area located mainly at the bottom of the vinyl (label position) : NO impact on Audio.

Storage warp (NO impact on Audio).

High luster.
