Data Destruction: All HDDs for resale have been sanitized in accordance with the UK Governments Data Protection Act 1998 & GDRP 2018. British Standard uses a 3 Pass method for Data Destruction to meet British HMG Infosec Standard. We don’t not use this standard, we use 3 separate protocols for each HDD to ensure we meet and surpass the British HMG Infosec Standard 5, going further then the Enhanced Standard, although we are compliant with these standards and exceed them and verify that each disk has been sanitised. We remove all data, secure or not is erased, one of the protocols used is DOD 5220-22.M (ECE) 7 Pass method, as well as two others, for extra security measures so we know that all data is erased from the disk.
