Hexagonal split bamoboo casting rod.  Reel seat is marked Heddon's Dowagiac PAT. DEC. 1. 08.  There is no additional writing visible on the rod.  The sock does have an illegible number sequence on it that may provide someone with more info.  See image 21.  Rod tube cap is marked James Heddon's Sons Dowagiac, MICH.  Rod measures 58 7/8" long when assembled.  Offered as found.  Old alligatored finish.  Tip has some side to side and up down play, but remains attached.  Reel seat and female ferrule move slightly from side to side.  Cork is soiled from use.  Wear and finish loss to metal hardware.  Rod does appear to have a slight curve to it.  It appears to be in the tip section.  See image 19.  Socks has some holes and loose stitching.  Rod tube has scratches and some tight splits, but appears structurally sound.  This rod is fresh out of a southern Indiana estate and being offered as it was found.  If there is any additional information you want or need please ask.  I am not a fishing equipment dealer and may have missed some important details.  Please review all 23 images as they are the most important part of this listing.  Additional pictures, info, and measurements available upon request.  I am happy to help.  Please ask all questions prior to bidding.  Thanks in advance.
