Item is a white Cleveland Browns Puma pre-season game worn jersey tagged as “00-46 D” Name and number of Derrick Alexander #94 are stitched on and the arm stripes are fabric. The jersey is from 2000 when Alexander played in the preseason, was injured and put on injury reserve. The jersey has not been photomatched. There is small tear on the left sleeve and some scuffs/discolouration.

Defensive end Derrick Alexander was drafted 11th overall by Minnesota in 1995 from Florida State. In college he was part of the 1993 National Championship team and was ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 1994. With the Vikings started 51 games over four years making 17.5 sacks. In 1999 he signed as a free agent to be an original “new” Brown, starting all 16 games as a defensive end. He had 2.5 sacks and 37 solo tackles and was known for his leadership in the locker room. After an injury in the 2000 preseason he joined the Browns front office and later coached at the high school level in Florida.
