Program the key and remote yourself!
Programming Instructions are written bellow and also sent with orders.
Black master key is needed to program the key yourself - If you have a grey service key only, then a locksmith will need to program it for you using a scan tool. Extra charges will apply..
Note: If the vehicle is storing 5 keys then a locksmith will need to program the key using a scan tool - DIY procedure will not work
No working remote is required to program new remotes
Remote programming procedure:
1. Key Removed from Ignition, drivers door open, all other doors closed
2. Insert key into ignition then remove it - do this twice
3. Close and open the drivers door twice
4. Insert key into the ignition then remove
5. Close and open the drivers door twice
6. Insert the key into the ignition, then close the door
7. Turn the key from off to on for 2 seconds
8. Remove key from ignition (locks should cycle)
9. Press the Lock and Unlock buttons on the remote at the same time for 1 second
10. Press and hold any button on the remote for 2 seconds (locks should cycle once for correct programming, or twice if procedure is incomplete)
11. To close programming, open the door of the vehicle.
Transponder key programming:
1. Put Original master key in and out of ignition 5 times. Finish with key in ignition
2. Open and close door 6 times
3. Remove original, insert new key
4. Leave for 60 seconds (or until Security light goes out on dashboard)
5. After 60 seconds security light stops flashing then you can start car.
6. Take key out
7. Open and close door
