Bjørn Wiinblad (20 September 1918 – 8 June 2006), was a Danish painter, designer and artist in ceramics, silver, bronze, textiles, and graphics. His work has been shown widely in Europe, in the United States of America first in 1954 and in Japan, Australia and Canada in 1968. Wiinblad was named Man of the Year in New York in 1985 and was awarded the American-Scandinavian Foundation’s Cultural Prize of 1995. 

This is Hand-painted Fan-shaped deformation form vase by Bjørn Wiinblad for Rosenthal made of porcelain depicting a woman with bird and floral decoration, decorated in gold on black vase color and decorated with iridescent glaze, marked with an artist's signature at the bottom side, and manufacturer's mark on the back of the bottom.


Some sense of use and small scratches. Generally good condition.  But consider that it is aged item and has been stored in a private home. Please check the photos for your own impression.
