An original large size map of Shropshire (north sheet) - see map dimensions below.  Around 114 years old.  Maps includes Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Whitchurch.

Print Source: 1908 Atlas of the British Isles.  I also have maps from both the 1901 and 1904 editions of this atlas.  Both the 1901 and 1904 had identical maps.  The maps in the 1908 edition differed in some of the colours, the notation and style of fonts.  Map shows the parliamentary divisions current at the time.

Condition: Excellent condition for its age. As the map was folded in the original publication a slight fold mark can be seen but this is little noticed when matted and framed.  The back of the map is blank.  The photos give a good indication of condition. (Will be despatched with the map folded along the original fold).

Size: Map is approx 51 cms x 34 cms (20 x 13.5 inches) and is sold unmatted.  Check orientation of  map from photos.
