This is a beautiful and very rare Pre-Columbian Moche/Chimu culture sacrificial knife called" Tumi" ( Northern Peru).

It's circa 700 - 1200 A.D

It has very attractive green oxidization over the bronze/copper alloy blade and handle. The finial depicts a Moche/Chief or priest holding a decapitated head!!! Absolutely stunning!....One of my personal favorites! A museum quality item!!!

Old private collection inventory tag is attached to the finial.

Measures 7 inches long....width of blade is 3.75 inches.

***** This is the real deal! Watch out for fakes/reproductions!!!
