The Wand Pendant
This is a truly lovely wand Pendant - made from a piece of Linden wood (also called Lime) that I found in Somerset, near to Glastonbury - a big branch had been broken off its tree in the winter storms. The Linden Tree is considered sacred to the Goddess Freya. I've carved the end into a point and sanded the wood smooth leaving the lovely bark on the handle. It has been treated with local beeswax polish. It measures about 10cm/4 inches long and hangs on a generous length of waxed cotton cord with a vintage wood bead.
