This is a new knife, and you are buying the knife in the photographs.  My impression of this blade is that it is very light weight and sharp.  I would be willing to improve the edge if you would like, but not much is needed.  This knife would make a great gift as a working blade for someone who loves to carry lightweight blades.  The folding action is very good for the price and the scales give a great purchase in the hand.
