Shaker Rocking Chair (1773 era ~ 250 yrs old).

This original shaker rocking chair is a family heirloom 10 generations old this belonged to my grandmother's grandmothers mother.

Condition ~ Excellent, strong, tight Stretchers, Legs and Rails.

Made from Birdseye Maple

The bottom rail has an old repair - the chair is solid and tightly connected ~ Solid and strong as a rock!

Perfectly preserved with original patina!

Completely Original from after my grandmother told me the story of the chairs origin, she and I built a seat for the rocking chair to give as a gift for my mother.
