Designed specifically for the Navy Seals in 1996 by custom knifemaker George Lainhart to exact military specifications. ATS34 blade
coated with Roguard, a high tech polymer for exceptional corrosion resistance. The handle is rubberized Kraton for comfort and
a sure grip -- while the bird beak style fingerguard keeps your hand from slipping
off. The leather sheath is treated with a 6% solution of mildewcide for
superior water and mildew resistances; it also has a water drain at the tip.
In original box. Unused condition; I see one light sheath mark on heel of blade. The white specks on the close up pics are lint, not marks on the black finish. 56-57 Rockwell C. You cant see it in the pics, but the box lid shows some marks on the lid, like someone placed something heavy on top and it left an indentation. These were built by Camillus and sold by United Cutlery. One post I saw said the original retail was around $270, while another said $200. Feel free to Google to your hearts content, these are extremely scarce and the other one on ebay is $90 more!
