This drive has been fully tested to accept the Xbox one file system. This hard drive has been properly formatted and partitioned to accept the Xbox one, Xbox one s, Xbox one X 2 TB File system. When you receive this hard drive you will have to first install it, then plug in flash drive that has the OSU1 offline update files, and use it to update your system offline for this drive to work.

With any Xbox One drive you replace you will lose the boot animation. The boot animation should return with the next update.
