Around 1830 Sonora was a manufacturer of chimes mostly in the shape of a warhead and marked in the middle of the dial "Seth Sonora chimes clock", it is probably from this time that dates the famous slogan "clear as a bell" from which was imagined the logo in the shape of a bell of Sonora.


Around 1927, the Sonora "Phonograph Sales Company" wanted to expand in Europe, Sonora SA Company was created in France by local private investors. This poster was printed in France for the French market.
